These are a few of our scariest things

Even though we do not celebrate halloween, I decided a little scare on the reno blog would be a nice change from plain old reporting. The pics below are some of the scariest things in our house.

This fan is in the kitchen and is not secured to the ceiling well. It rocks. Plus it is mammoth and hangs low!

The door is not on the panelboard due to our painting the walls...scary!

I think everyone who views Rhianwen's blog can attest to the fact that the majority of the pictures have somehow been taken in the dining/kitchen area. I think everyone is tired of seeing this nasty nicotene yellow floor.

Our piecemeal counters are very scary. They'll probably be like that for a while.

Spider webs galore. Wind chimes can sound a little creepy on a dark cold night but wind chimes covered in spider webs, now that is scary!

We have officially begun moving into the family room. This week was spent removing the glue from the main part of the floor using a wire brush, paint scraper, spic n span, and a lot of elbow grease. We also painted the closets in the family room.

A very unbecoming picture of moving into the family room.

Well-----what can I say; the wind chime spider web according to my careful perusal has been determined to be a cobweb (which scientifically Is not made by a spider but by dust). Dust is not as scary as a spider web. However this determination was made by a photo and is not as conclusive as a eye witness account....but then again, according to the tv murder things--eye witness acounts are not as accurate as scientific testing, dna, etc. So maybe you should do more testing and then come to a better more accurate conclusion.(ps..I think you need a blog notification on the renovation tracker to let us know when you update this blog)
