Candy Land Party

Rhianwen's 5th birthday bash. We made most of the decorations using cardboard and crayons or spray paint and acrylics.

The Entrance.

Gingerbread Tree (yep, we had a basket of homemade gingerbread men for them). I took the pics before I set out all of the candy and food.

Mr. Mint and Peppermint Forest. PVC pipe for the large candy canes with red duct tape. Wally used spray paint for the squares. So, we'll be playing Candy Land in our backyard until spring.

Gumdrop mountains and Jolly.

It was fun drawing these guys.

Lord Licorice's. We had thought about using corrugated pipe, but decided to stick with cheaper crepe paper.

Doesn't he look malevolent?...not really :)

Wally made windows for Gramma Nut's house.

I know, signs are kind of boring.

Lollipop Woods.

Princess Frostine's (supposed to look like a frozen lake).

Gloppy and the Chocolate Swamp.

Gloppy.

Candy Castle.

Yummy food and giant lollipops.

We used a gumdrop tree for the centerpiece on the kid's table.

And of course, the cake.

This was such a fun party!

Oh, and the tree house looks incredible! That obviously took a lot of effort. I take it you have no plans of moving any time soon? :o)
